IBERE RYA BIGOGWE (The breast of Bigogwe in English). is historical monolith located in the western part of Rwanda, Rubavu district, in the village known as Bigogwe. It is a popular tourist attraction and one of the most iconic landmarks in the country. The surrounding area is a popular destination for rock climbers and hikers, offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside plus its historical background. In addition to its natural beauty, IBERE RYA BIGOGWE is believed to have a holly place at the top and Believers especially locals often travel to these sites to deepen their connection with their faith or seek spiritual guidance. We are still working on rock climbing but professional climbers who can do it by themselves are welcomed.
